2014-2020 Transportation Improvement Program

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a seven-year funding document for bicycle, pedestrian, highway, rail, and public transportation projects. The DCHC MPO has begun the process to develop the Fiscal Year 2014-2020 TIP. The draft FY 2014-2010 TIP Regional Priority List has been released for public comment. A public hearing will be held at the November 9, 2011 TAC meeting. Public comments will be accepted until December 13, 2011.

MPO Considers Alternatives for Rail Transit

The DCHC MPO conducted a public hearing to consider preferences for rail transit at its January 11, 2012 meeting. The next step will be approval of a locally-preferred alternative.

DCHC MPO appoves Durham County Bus and Rail Investment Plan

The DCHC MPO Board (Transportation Advisory Committee -- TAC) approved the Durham County Bus and Rail Investment Plan. Thank you to the approximately 130 citizens who participated in the workshops and completed the online survey.
