Proposed FY2020-2029 DCHC MPO Transportation Improvement Plan Released for Public Comment

The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) is the regional planning organization responsible for planning and programming state and federal transportation projects in the urbanized areas of Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties. The DCHC MPO has developed a draft FY2020-2029 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP), which is the ten-year funding and scheduling document for transportation improvement projects using state, federal, and local funds in the DCHC MPO region. The draft TIP is open for public comment period until December 11, 2019.

 

The draft TIP can be viewed online at 2020-2029 Transportation Improvement Plan. Copies of the draft TIP are available for review at the City of Durham Transportation Department, and the North, South, and East regional branches of the Durham Public Library, the Chapel Hill Library, the Orange County Library in Hillsborough, and the Chatham County Planning Department.  

 

The DCHC MPO Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 9:00 AM in the Committee Room, located on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC 27701. Persons with disabilities will be accommodated; provisions must be requested at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
