The DCHC MPO Board has released the priority project lists for Prioritization 6.0 for public comment. Prioritization is the process by which the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) determines allocation of state and federal funding for transportation projects across the state. This cycle takes place every 2-3, and one of the first steps in the cycle is for the DCHC MPO to submit candidate projects for funding to NCDOT. The final list of projects must be submitted by May 1.
The DCHC MPO Board has released a list of proposed projects for submittal for Prioritization 6.0, the current cycle of Prioritization. The public comment period is open until March 29, 2020. A public hearing will be held during the MPO Board meeting on Wednesday, March 11. The meeting takes place at 9:00 in the second floor committee room of Durham City Hall (101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC 27701). Comment can also be made to Aaron Cain at email@example.com or 919-560-4366.
The proposed priority project lists are available at http://www.dchcmpo.org/programs/improvement/tip2032/default.asp#tabs1.
